Position: Graphic Validation Engineer
Location: Shanghai
The role
In Imagination China Lab GPU SW Team, you will have the mission to broaden and deepen Imagination’s collaboration with customers and ecosystem partners in China by optimizing applications, developing customized software solutions, analyzing customer issues, and training and enabling developers. You will also work closely with UK and China Product, BD, sales, and AE team to define project scopes and deliverables.
You will:
- Analyze and breakdown different customer’s product requirements in Graphics domain, including perception, localization, planning and control, etc. Support marketing team to define proper project scope.
- Cover the local validation of OpenGL/OpenGL ES, Vulkan and OpenCL drivers on Android/Linux
- Profile Graphics/Compute drivers for performance tuning on Android/Linux
- Collaborate with Chinese customers to develop full-stack solutions based on Imagination DDK and SDK
You have:
- Strong capability of Python, Perl or Shell programming and debugging
- 3+ year experience in GPU driver validation
- In-depth knowledge on at least one mainstream auto test framework
- In-depth skills on testing and error tracing towards at least one of
OpenGL/OpenGL ES
Vulkan
OpenCL
Shader Compiler
Kernel Mode Driver
Window System - Familiar with Graphics benchmark, performance tuning and profiling tools is a great plus (Android, Linux, etc)
